Spectre

A James bond movie is not a bond movie, if there are no plot twists, and action packed sequences, and the latest Spectre did not disappoint, despite naysayers saying there is too much talk but no action. I feel, it has got the right blend of everything, and what lends the satisfying thud is when the bad guy is kicked out of the helicopter to his grisly death, or being shut behind bars to rot in jail whichever is more painful at the time of their departure. Each deserves their fateful come uppance in the hand of James Bond, the modern century knight in shining armour, who also happens to have a taste for much older woman in this episode, in fact the widow, whose evil husband he killed early in the show, in a scene which reminisces Live and Let Die. Barely equipped, this time around because of his disciplinary problems, Bond survived the last minute ordeal thanks to a trusty watch with a unique feature, he remembered to use, despite having holes drilled into his skull, with no side effects. At the end, every bad guy must die or be put in jail, and judging from the body count, I guess it satisfies the audience appetite for the time being, until a new James Bond come to the town? What kind of James Bond do you prefer? Tougher, smarter, sexier, stronger? No matter what, you will get the enjoy the signature James Bond adventure with every curtain call.
